MY REVIEW

The Forty-Year Grudge is the second book in the Merritt & Blunt Mysteries series. Aubrey Merritt is a private investigator. Olivia Blunt is her assistant and aspiring detective. While The Forty-Year Grudge can be read as a standalone novel, I recommend starting with the first book, The World’s Greatest Detective and Her Just Okay Assistant.

In The Forty-Year Grudge, Merritt travels to New Mexico and reconnects with her former sorority sisters. Blunt comes along on the trip to help. When one of the sorority sisters is murdered, Merritt and Blunt work to solve the case.

This is a cozy mystery with dry humor. Interesting characters and a fun mystery.
