MY REVIEW
Elizabeth didn’t get into Harvard Law School, and she feels it is because she is too boring. When she learns a classmate has gotten in, she wants to find out what what made them so interesting. She watches the classmate, but doesn’t see anything that makes her better. She only see the person who took her spot.
Boring Asian Female is a dark social satire. Elizabeth is ambitious and jealous. Told from Elizabeth’s point of view, the reader follows her downward spiral after not getting into Harvard Law.
Boring Asian Female is great debut novel. An unsettling and intense psychological thriller.
