Hey there! I hope everyone is enjoying some good books.

The Girls Weekend by Jody Gehrman
This was an eARC received via NetGalley. The blurb about it being a locked room mystery caught my attention.

Hide Away by Iris Johansen
It’s been a while since I read anything by Johansen. I figured it was time to get caught up on her Eve Duncan series.

Imagine Me, Unite Me & Find Me by Tahreh Mafi
I finished this series!

Stranger in the Lake by Kimberly Belle
This was another eARC. I liked Belle’s Dear Wife, so I was excited to read her latest book.

Dachshund Through the Snow by David Rosenfelt
This is a good series that I try to keep up with.

No books added this week.

  1. It’s not really my genre but I always love looking at the covers of Tahereh Mafi! I think I have a novel of Iris Johansen but I haven’t read it yet… she’s a great author then? Ow you’re already in a winter mood! I love dachshunds but not really the snow, I’m quite happy summer is still coming :-). Happy reading Darinda!

    1. I love the covers for the Shatter Me series. It’s one of the reasons I read the books. 😍 I liked Johansen’s earlier books more than the more recent releases. Her books are sometimes more romantic suspense than mystery. Usually they’re fun, quick reads. 😊 I put the winter book on hold in January. It came up available this week. Got to admit, I was not really feeling the Christmas theme, but I wanted to get it read before the newest book in the series is released. I’m definitely ready for summer. πŸ’œ

    1. I’m a few chapters into Stranger in the Lake , and it’s good so far. I finished Dachshund Through the Snow. I always like the Andy Carpenter books, so I liked this one too. Hope you like them too. πŸ’œ
