Top Ten Tuesday is hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl. This week’s theme is Books I Hope I Find Under My Christmas Tree This Morning.
Like many bookworms, I have a long list of books I want. I own so many books, it’s hard for others to buy ones for me though. Also, I can be really particular about which edition I want. Below is a list of books that are currently on my want to own list. For the books on this list, I’m picky about which edition because I prefer that the books all match what I already have.
1. The Girl Who Takes an Eye for an Eye by David Lagercrantz
I have the first four books in this series, and want the latest one too.

2. A Dance with Dragons by George R. R. Martin
I have the first four books in the series, but haven’t bought this one yet.

3. Life Among the Savages by Shirley Jackson
One of the few books by Jackson that I haven’t read. I love her fiction, and would like to read this nonfiction memoir too.

4. Tolkien’s Books for the Middle-Earth Universe
I have The Hobbit and The Lord of the Rings trilogy, and would like to finish out the collection.

5. Raymond Chandler’s Philip Marlowe series
I have books 1 and 3 in this series, and would like to get the whole set.

6. Locke & Key series by Joe Hill and Gabriel Rodriguez.
I have volumes 1, 2 and 5, but haven’t read them yet. I plan to get the remaining three books and read them all back to back.

7. The Throne of Glass series by Sarah J. Maas
I have books 1 and 3, and I want to read the others too.

8. Puffin Classics
A series of primarily children’s classics that I’ve slowly been acquiring.

9. Vintage Classics
Another one that I have some of the books and want more.

10. The Great Gatsby by F. Scott Fitzgerald
This is my favorite book, and I already own multiple copies. There are other editions though, and I wouldn’t mind having them in my collection.

Merry Christmas Darinda! I love your selection of books! I hope I get some too!
