Reading Update: January 2018

Monthly Update | Nightcap Books

I hadn’t planned on having much time for reading in January, so I decided to start listening to more audiobooks. This worked, as I was able to listen to books on my “want to read” list without having to sit and read the book. I started listening to audiobooks last year, and I plan on listening to even more of them this year. I’m a fan of OverDrive, and there are plenty of audiobooks available in the app to keep me busy for a long time. Other than audiobooks, I read ebooks. I got a new Kindle for Christmas, so with the combination of ebooks from Netgalley and Kindle Unlimited, my ebook selection was larger than usual.

January Books:

1. Stillhouse Lake by Rachel Caine
2. Forget Me Not by Kierney Scott
3. Furiously Happy: A Funny Book About Horrible Things by Jenny Lawson
4. Misconceptions by Blu Daniels
5. Friends and Other Liars by Kaela Coble
6. Her Best Friend by Sarah Wray
7. B is for Burglar by Sue Grafton
8. C is for Corpse by Sue Grafton
9. D is for Deadbeat by Sue Grafton
10. E is for Evidence by Sue Grafton
11. F is for Fugitive by Sue Grafton
12. G is for Gumshoe by Sue Grafton
13. Dark Corner by Brandon Massey
14. H is for Homicide by Sue Grafton
15. Better Dead by Pamela Kopfler
16. The Animators by Kayla Rae Whitaker
17. I is for Innocent by Sue Grafton
18. Dirty Little Murder by Traci Tyne Hilton
19. J is for Judgment by Sue Grafton
20. A Christmas Carol by Charles Dickens
21. Close To Me by Amanda Reynolds
22. K is for Killer by Sue Grafton

I didn’t read many books toward my 2018 reading goals this month, but Misconceptions was on Book Riot’s 100 Must-Read Hilarious Books and Dark Corner was on Book Riot’s 100 Must-Read Books About Monsters.
