Top Ten Tuesday is hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl. This week’s theme is Halloween/Creepy Freebie.
For my topic this week, I’m listing 10 horror books on my TBR. I’ve been reading more books listed as horror in the last couple of years, so my list for books in that genre has been growing. Below are 10 books I didn’t get to before Halloween this year, but I hope to read sometime over the next year.

1. It by Stephen King
2. Let Me In by John Ajvide Lindqvist
3. World War Z by Max Brooks
4. The Forest of Hands and Teeth by Carrie Ryan
5. Broken Monsters by Lauren Beukes
6. Relic by Douglas Preston and Lincoln Child
7. I am Legend by Richard Matheson
8. My Best Friend’s Exorcism by Grady Hendrix
9. Rosemary’s Baby by Ira Levin
10. The Collector by John Fowles
Have you read any of these books? Any other horror novels you recommend?
Oh, Broken Monsters is one of my next to reads! It looks dangerously creepy. The others ones I have already read and I can attest,, they are good. Don’t waste your time on the movies though. Let Me In is a book that I have read three times. Awesome!
Glad you enjoyed these! Great to hear they are good ones. I have seen a few of the movies, but, since books are almost always better, I wanted to read them too. Hopefully, I can get to a couple of these before the end of the year. 😊
I really should read them all. I have a book problem of course.
I’ve read IT, In the Forest of Hands and Teeth, Rosemary’s Baby and My Best Friend’s Exorcism. I liked them all pretty well except the Carrie Ryan one. I would recommend The Shining if you’ve not read it – it’s my favorite King!
The Shining is one of my favorites by King, too! Glad you (mostly) enjoyed the books on this list!
My best friend’s Exorcism was really good.

I look forward to reading it!
Ooh, I’ve watched Let Me In but not read the book! I honestly didn’t know it was a novel first! I will have to look for that at the library.
I haven’t seen the movie, but I’ve heard great things about the book.
I’ve read IT, The Forest of Hands and Teeth, Rosemary’s Baby, and The Collector. Out of all of these, I think IT was my favorite.
IT is at the top of my list. Hoping to read it in the next month or so.
